Ableton recently announced their latest and greatest the live 10 we did a whole piece on whats new when the announcement broke. Live 10 suite without an upgrade is 599. The fact that ableton is charging 70 more for its suite owners to upgrade is outrageous. From live 9 to live 10 or from differently featured editions like intro to standard or suite would be a paid upgrade.

Maybe you don t think the 9 7 to 10 difference is very big. The limited tracks and the lack of sounds on the lite version is kinda holding me back. Right now i have ableton live 10 lite. More of live s audio effects tweak sculpt or completely destroy your sound with professional effects such as the eq.

Included with a number of apps and hardware products live 10 lite is a lightweight version of ableton live 10. For the full live 10 suite you re gonna pay 599. Fruity loops is on the mac now and it s had this for ten years. The 9 standard to 10 suite upgrade is a double upgrade though.
